The well data window provides a consolidated view of the selected well parameters and operation.
You can open the window in several ways:

By clicking the well tile in the well management pane.
-
By clicking the well tile on the heat map.
-
By clicking the well name in tables displayed in sections of the working area.
-
By clicking Go to well (
) in the alert data window.
To close the window and go back to the previous screen, click the arrow icon (
) in the upper-left corner of the window.

The well data window consists of the following parts:
-
Header at the top of the window
-
Alerts pane in the left part of the window
-
Trend chart in the central part of the window
-
Well data and Operation records tabs in the right part of the window
Header
The well data header contains the name of the selected well and names of the pad and field to which this well belongs.
The header also provides information about the well's current operational status, displayed as a colored badge (
). You can add custom badges by clicking the plus icon (
).
Alerts
The Alerts pane provides a list of all alerts generated for the well, both unconfirmed (pending) and confirmed (archive). For details, see Alerts.
To filter alerts in the list by their type and/or date, perform the following actions:
-
In the upper-right corner of the pane, click the filter icon (
). The filter window opens. -
In the window, under the Type heading, select check boxes of the desired alert types.
-
Under the Time range, click the date range picker, and then, in the window that opens, select the desired start and end dates.
-
At the bottom of the window, click Apply.
-
(Optional) To reset the filters, open the window and click Reset.
Alerts are displayed as tiles that contain the following data:

Alert severity level displayed as an icon:

Critical (

High (
) -
Medium (
) -
Low (

Name of the parameter whose deviation triggered the alert and an icon indicating the direction of the change: increase (
) or decrease (

Date and time of alert generation

Alert type (Deviation analysis, Setpoint analysis, or Instant analysis)
Trend Chart
The trend chart provides visualization of the well operation parameters over the specified time range. To configure the displayed time range, at the top of the chart select one of the pre-defined options, or click the calendar icon (
) in the left part of the date range picker, then click the date range picker itself and select the desired start and end points.
Configuration of the parameters displayed in the chart is defined by the template selected in the upper-left corner of the chart. Two default templates are available: Flow rate & pressure
and Frequency. For details on creating and editing templates, see Working with Chart Templates.
To add or remove parameters from the chart, to the right of the template list, click Add parameters (
), and then, in the drop-down list, select or clear check boxes of the desired parameters.
In the upper-right corner of the chart, additional controls for the data display configuration are available:
Alerts
Displays alerts generated for the well as vertical dark gray lines on the chart. Alert details are available in the pop-up window that appears on hovering over the chart. For details, see Alerts.
Downtimes
Displays well downtime periods as vertical light gray lines on the chart. Downtime details are available in the pop-up window that appears on hovering over the chart. For details, see Downtimes.
Oper. records
Displays operational records as small transparent windows. Depending on the record settings, the window may contain the record subject, tags, and/or message. For details, see Working with Operational Records.
Legend
Displays the chart legend in the right part of the chart. The legend provides the ability to temporarily show or hide parameters in the chart. To do this, click the parameter name in the legend. Names of the visible parameters are displayed in black, names of the hidden parameters are in gray.
Real time
Enables real-time update of the chart data. If this option is turned on, the chart is updated as soon as the new measurements appear. Otherwise, the chart is updated on a regular basis every 15 minutes.
To expand the chart to full screen, in its upper-right corner, click Expand (
). To collapse the expanded chart back to the original size, click Collapse (
).
Well Data
The Well data tab provides information about the well, such as installed equipment, operating parameters, and setpoints.
To configure data display on the tab, in the upper-right corner of the tab, click Settings (
), and select or clear check boxes of the desired parameters.
At the top of the tab, general parameters of the well are displayed as tiles: status, well type, and reservoir.
Below, the following tabs are available:
-
Equipment: Characteristics of the equipment installed on the well.
-
Operating parameters: Parameters of the well operation. If the Forecast flow rate check box is selected in the well data settings, at the bottom of the tab, the Forecast flow rate area is displayed where you can calculate forecast values of the cumulative liquid flow rate. You can select the calculation horizon in the following ways:
-
Select one of the predefined calculation horizons (At end of day or At end of month).
-
Configure a custom horizon by clicking the date picker and selecting the desired date and time.
-
-
Setpoints: Values of the well parameters that are used as setpoints for monitoring the well operation. These values are obtained through integration and can be used for generating alerts via setpoint analysis algorithms. For details, see Configuring Setpoint Analysis Alerts.
Note
You can configure the display of parameters on the Equipment and Operating parameters tabs in the well data settings.
Operational Records
The Operational records tab contains a list of all operational records added for the well displayed as tiles and provides controls for adding new records. For details, see Working with Operational Records.
The operational record tile provides the following information:

Subject and message of the record
-
Date and time of the record creation
-
Name of the user who created the record
Depending on the record parameters, it may also contain the following elements:
-
Record tags (
): Shows the tags assigned to the record.Note
You can filter the list of operational records by tags. For details, see Working with Operational Records.
-
Displayed on chart (
): Indicates that the record badge is displayed on the chart. -
Comments (
): Indicates the presence of comments and their number. To view comments to the record, click its tile. For details on adding comments, see Working with Operational Records.
On hovering over the tile of the record created by you, the Delete (
) and Edit (
) icons appear. For details, see Working with Operational Records.
3.2.1. Working with Chart Templates
The trend chart provides the ability to save configurations of displayed parameters as templates for faster switching between different chart views.
A list of all templates is available at the top of the trend chart. You can switch between them by selecting the desired template from the list.

Two default templates are available: Flow rate & pressure and Current frequency. They cannot be modified but you can create new templates based on them (see procedures below).
Important
Templates store only axis and parameter settings. Other display parameters, such as the date range and alert indications, are configured independently. You can perform the following actions with templates:
3.2.1.1. Creating Templates
You can create a trend chart template in the following ways:
Creating Template From Scratch
To create a template from scratch, perform the following actions:
-
Open the well data window for the desired well. For details, see Well Data Window.
-
In the central part of the window, click the name of the currently selected template at the top of the trend chart, and then, from the drop-down list, select Add (
). -
In the window that opens, enter a name for the new template and click Create. A new template settings window opens.

In the left part of the window, click Axis (
). A new axis tile appears. -
(Optional) To configure the new axis settings, you can perform the following actions:
-
To change the color of the labels displayed on the axis, click the square to the left of the axis name, and then, in the window that appears, select the desired color and its opacity using sliders or manual input.
-
To change the axis position and/or scale, in the upper-right corner of the tile, click Settings (
), and then, in the window that appears, select the desired options under the Axis position and Auto scale headings.

In the new axis tile, click Parameter (
). A window with a list of parameters opens.
-
In the list, select check boxes of the parameters that will be displayed in the trend chart, and then, at the bottom of the window, click Add. A list of selected parameters appears on the axis tile.

(Optional) To configure the selected parameter settings, you can perform the following actions:
-
To change the parameter color, click the square to the left of the parameter name, and then, in the window that appears, select the desired color and its opacity using sliders or manual input.

To change the parameter graph type and/or marker, hover over the row of the parameter, click Settings (
), and then, in the window that appears, select the desired options under the Visualization and Marker headings.

(Optional) To add more axes or more parameters to an existing axis, repeat the previous steps.
-
(Optional) To delete a parameter or axis, click Delete (
) on the axis tile or in the parameter row. -
In the lower-right corner of the window, click Save. The created template is applied to the trend chart automatically.
Duplicating Templates
To create a new template by duplicating an existing one, perform the following actions:
-
Open the well data window for the desired well. For details, see Well Data Window.

In the central part of the window, click the name of the currently selected template at the top of the trend chart. A drop-down list of all templates appears.
-
In the list, hover over the desired template and click the Duplicate (
) button that appears to the right of the template name.
Important
Default templates (Flow rate & pressure and Current frequency) cannot be duplicated. To create a new template based on them, see the procedure below.

In the window that opens, enter a name for the new template and click Create. The created template is applied to the trend chart automatically.
-
Make the desired changes to the new template. For details, see the procedure above.
-
At the top of the chart, click Save (
), and then select Save from the drop-down list.
Saving Existing Template As New
After modifying an existing template, you can save it as a new template. To do this, perform the following actions:
-
Open the well data window for the desired well. For details, see Well Data Window.
-
In the central part of the window, click the name of the currently selected template at the top of the trend chart, and then, from the drop-down list, select the template that you want to modify. The selected template is applied to the trend chart automatically.
-
Make the desired changes to the template. For details, see the procedure above.
-
At the top of the chart, click Save (
), and then select Save as new from the drop- down list.
3.2.1.2. Editing Templates
You can edit a trend chart template in the following ways:
Renaming Templates
To rename a template, perform the following actions:
-
Open the well data window for the desired well. For details, see Well Data Window.
-
In the central part of the window, click the name of the currently selected template at the top of the trend chart, then hover over the desired template and click Rename (
) to the right of the template name.
Important
Default templates (Flow rate & pressure and Current frequency) cannot be renamed. A window displaying the template name opens.

Enter a new name for the template and click Edit.
Modifying Chart Axes
To modify the chart axes or parameters displayed on them, perform the following actions:
-
Open the well data window for the desired well. For details, see Well Data Window.

In the central part of the window, click the name of the currently selected template at the top of the trend chart, then hover over the desired template and click Edit (
) to the right of the template name.Important
Default templates (Flow rate & pressure and Current frequency) cannot be edited.
The template settings window opens.

In this window, perform the desired actions:

To add a new axis, in the left part of the window, click Axis (
). The new axis tile appears. -
To configure the axis settings, perform the desired actions:

Configuring Parameter Display
To show or hide parameters from the chart, perform the following actions:

In the central part of the window, click the name of the currently selected template at the top of the trend chart, and then, select the desired template from the drop-down list.

To the right of the template list, click Add parameters (
), and then, in the drop- down list, select or clear check boxes of the desired parameters.

At the top of the chart, click Save (
), and then select one of the following options from the drop-down list:-
To save changes to the currently selected template, select Save.
Important
Default templates (Flow rate & pressure and Current frequency) cannot be edited. You can only save changes to a new template (see below).

To save changes to a new template, select Save as new.

Deleting Templates
To delete a template, perform the following actions:
-
Open the well data window for the desired well. For details, see Well Data Window.

In the central part of the window, click the name of the currently selected template at the top of the trend chart, hover over the desired template and click Delete (
) to the right of the template name.Important
Default templates (Flow rate & pressure and Current frequency) cannot be deleted.

In the window that opens, confirm the deletion.
3.2.2. Working with Operational Records
Operational records allow you to keep track of the well operation. For details, see Well Data Window.
You can perform the following actions with operational records:
Adding Operational Records
To add a new record, perform the following actions:
-
Open the well data window for the desired well. For details, see Well Data Window.
-
In the right part of the window, open the Operational records tab.
-
On this tab, click Add (
). The new record window opens.
-
In the Subject and Message fields, enter the content for the record.
-
(Optional) To assign tags to the record, under the Tags heading, click the desired options.
Note
Tags are used for categorization of the operational records. You can filter the list of records by tags and display these tags on the trend chart if the corresponding option is enabled (see description below).
-
(Optional) To add the same record to other wells, perform the following actions:
-
Turn on the Duplicate to other wells option, and then, under the corresponding toggle, click Add (
).
-
In the window that opens, select check boxes of the wells to which the record will be duplicated, and then, at the bottom of the window, click Add. A list of the selected wells appears under the Duplicate to other wells toggle.
-
(Optional) To delete a well from this list, hover over it and click Delete (
).
-
-
(Optional) To make the record visible on the chart, perform the following actions:
-
Turn on the Show on chart option. The record display parameters appear under the toggle.
-
Click the date picker, and then select from the calendar or enter manually the date and time when the record will be displayed.
-
Below the date picker, select the record elements that will be displayed: Subject, Tags, and/or Message. The record preview below shows how it will appear on the chart.
-
-
At the bottom of the window, click Add. The created record appears in the list.
Filtering Records
To filter the list of operational records by tags, perform the following actions:
-
Open the well data window for the desired well. For details, see Well Data Window.
-
In the right part of the window, open the Operational records tab.
-
In the upper-right corner of the tab, click Filter (
), and then select check boxes of the desired tags in the drop-down list. -
At the bottom of the list, click Apply.
-
(Optional) To clear filters, click Filter (
), and then, at the bottom of the drop-down list, click Reset.
Displaying Records on Trend Chart
To show operational records on the trend chart, perform the following actions:
-
Open the well data window for the desired well. For details, see Well Data Window.
-
Ensure that the Show on chart option is enabled in the desired operational record settings. For details, see procedure above.
-
At the top of the trend chart, turn on the Oper. records option. If the desired operational records belong to the time range displayed on the chart, they appear on the chart as badges. For details on the trend chart, see Well Data Window.
Commenting on Records
To add a comment to an operational record, perform the following actions:
-
Open the well data window for the desired well. For details, see Well Data Window.
-
In the right part of the window, open the Operational records tab.
-
Click the desired record tile. A list of all comments on the record appears.

In the lower part of the window, enter your comment and press Enter. The added comment appears in the list.
Editing Records
To edit an operational record, perform the following actions:
-
Open the well data window for the desired well. For details, see Well Data Window.
-
In the right part of the window, open the Operational records tab.
-
Hover over the tile of the desired operational record and click Edit (
).Important
You cannot edit operational records added by other users. The Edit (
) icon appears only on the tiles of the records created by you. The record settings window opens. -
In the window, make the desired changes. For details, see the procedure above.

At the bottom of the window, click Save.
Deleting Records
To delete an operational record, perform the following actions:
-
Open the well data window for the desired well. For details, see Well Data Window.

In the right part of the window, open the Operational records tab.
-
Hover over the tile of the desired operational record and click Delete (
).Important
You cannot delete operational records added by other users. The Delete (
) icon appears only on the tiles of the records created by you. -
In the window that opens, confirm the deletion. The record disappears from the list.
