3.1 Well Management Pane

The well management pane provides a list of wells belonging to the business unit selected in the module and controls for their management. For details on the business unit selection, see Business Unit Selection.

nv.EBS: Well Management Pane

Wells in the list are grouped by fields to which they belong. To expand or collapse the list of wells, to the left of the field name, click the arrow icon ( nv.EBS interface icon ) / ( nv.EBS interface icon ).

You can search for wells by their name or a part of it using the search field at the top of the pane. Search results are displayed in a drop-down list.

To view information about the well, click its name in this list. For details, see Well Data Window.

To the right of the field name, an icon with the total number of pending alerts is displayed. For details on the the icon colors, see below.

Wells in the list are displayed as tiles that provide the following data:

  • Virtual flow meter: Vertical line displayed on the left border. On hovering over it, a tooltip with a list of flow rate data sources appears: Measured data only or Virtual flow meter (ML model and/or Physical model). The color of the vertical line indicates if and what virtual flow meter models are enabled:

    • Light blue ( nv.EBS interface icon ) / Gray ( nv.EBS interface icon ): ML model is enabled/disabled.

    • Dark blue ( nv.EBS interface icon ) / Gray ( nv.EBS interface icon ): Physical model is enabled/disabled.

      Note

      The virtual flow meter provides calculated values of the liquid flow rate that are used for compensating outdated or missing measured data. For details on the virtual flow meter configuration, see Well Settings Window.

  • Well and pad names.

  • Liquid flow rate ( nv.EBS interface icon ), oil flow rate ( nv.EBS interface icon ), and water cut ( nv.EBS interface icon ).

  • Number of pending alerts: If there are unconfirmed alerts, their number is displayed on the icon. The icon color corresponds to the alert severity level: critical ( nv.EBS interface icon ), high ( nv.EBS interface icon ), medium ( nv.EBS interface icon ), low ( nv.EBS interface icon ). The green icon ( nv.EBS interface icon ) indicates that there are no pending alerts. The icon color reflects the highest severity level of the well alerts, i.e. if there is one critical alert, two medium severity alerts, and three low severity alerts, the icon will still be colored as critical.

  • First priority ( nv.EBS interface icon ): Assigns the priority status to the well or, if it is already assigned, resets it. Priority wells are always displayed at the top of the list of wells so that you can monitor their condition.

  • Well settings ( nv.EBS interface icon ): Opens the window for configuring the selected well settings. For details, see Settings.

    Note

    The First priority ( nv.EBS interface icon ) and Well settings ( nv.EBS interface icon ) icons are displayed only when you hover over the well tile.

At the top of the well list, the following controls are available:

Filter ( nv.EBS interface icon )

Allows you to filter the list of wells by fields and/or specific wells. To do this, in the drop-down list, select check boxes of the desired fields and/or wells. Wells are displayed as child nodes under the corresponding field nodes. To expand or collapse a list of wells, to the left of the field name, click the arrow icon ( nv.EBS interface icon ) or ( nv.EBS interface icon ).

Sort ( nv.EBS interface icon )

Allows you to sort wells in the list by the values of one of their parameters in ascending or descending order. To do this, select the desired options under the Sort by and Sort order headings.

Settings ( nv.EBS interface icon )

Opens the Settings window where you can configure both common and well-specific settings. For details, see Settings.

Report ( nv.EBS interface icon )

Opens the window for configuring and generating reports on the well parameters. For details, see Reports.

3.1.1. Settings

In the Settings window, you can configure alert generation rules, virtual flow meter calculations, and units of measurement for all wells, well groups, or specific wells.

To open the window, at the top of the well management pane, click Settings ( nv.EBS interface icon ).

The window consists of several tabs located in its left part:

3.1.1.1. Configuring General Well Settings

On the Wells tab of the Settings window, you can configure all well parameters, both general settings and alert generation rules.

On this tab, you can configure settings both for one well and multiple wells at the same time.

Configuring General Settings for One Well

Configuration of a single well's settings is performed from the Well settings window that you can open in the following ways:

  • At the top of the well management pane, click Settings ( nv.EBS interface icon ), and then, in the right part of the Wells tab, in the list of wells, hover over the desired well row and click Settings ( nv.EBS interface icon ).

  • In the well management pane, hover over the desired well tile, and click Settings ( nv.EBS interface icon ).

Configuring General Settings for Multiple Wells

To configure general settings for multiple wells, perform the following actions:

  1. At the top of the well management pane, click Settings ( nv.EBS interface icon ). The Settings window opens.

  2. In the right part of the Wells tab, in the table with a list of wells, select check boxes of the wells that you want to configure.

    Note

    You can find a well by its name. To do this, at the top of the list, in the Search field, enter the well name or a part of it.

  3. (Optional) To expand the table to full screen, in the upper-right corner of the tab, click Expand ( nv.EBS interface icon ).

  4. At the top of the table, click Configure. The Configure selected wells window opens with a list of selected wells in its upper- right corner.

    Note

    You can remove a well from the list of selected wells by hovering over the corresponding entry and clicking the delete icon ( nv.EBS interface icon ) that appears on it.

  5. In the Well settings area at the top of the window, click Add ( nv.EBS interface icon ), and select the desired settings from the drop-down list. Areas with the selected setting parameters appear.

  6. (Optional) To add more settings, below the most recently added setting, click Add ( nv.EBS interface icon ), and select the desired option or options from the drop-down list.

    Note

    You can remove an already added setting by hovering over the corresponding area and clicking the delete icon ( nv.EBS interface icon ) that appears on hovering.

  7. Configure the selected settings. Available parameters are the same as those in the well settings window. For details, see Well Settings Window.

  8. When the configuration is completed, at the bottom of the window, click Save.

3.1.1.1.1. Well Settings Window

The Well settings window consolidates all well settings in one place.

Note

This window is designed for configuring a single well's settings. For details on how to configure multiple wells at the same time, see Configuring General Well Settings.

You can open the window in one of the following ways:

  • At the top of the well management pane, click Settings ( nv.EBS interface icon ), and then, in the right part of the Wells tab, in the list of wells, hover over the desired well row and click Settings ( nv.EBS interface icon ).

  • In the well management pane, hover over the desired well tile, and click Settings ( nv.EBS interface icon ).

The window contains the following well settings:

After all of the settings are configured, at the bottom of the window, click Save.

First Priority

The First priority setting allows you to distinguish a well among other wells of the same pad or field. For example, you can filter wells in the list on the Downtimes tab. In the well management pane, priority wells are marked with the priority icon ( nv.EBS interface icon ).

To assign the first priority status, perform the following actions:

  1. In the Well settings window, turn on the First priority option. Below, a list of the priority status parameters appears.

  2. From the Reason list, select a reason for assigning this status to the well.

  3. (Optional) In the Comment field, add a comment to the status assignment.

    Note

    Alternatively, you can assign the priority status right from the well management pane. To do this, hover over the desired well tile, click the priority icon ( nv.EBS interface icon ) that appears on hovering, and then perform Steps 2 and 3 of the procedure described above.

Priority wells are marked with the priority icon ( nv.EBS interface icon ) on their tiles in the well management pane.

To remove the priority status, turn off the corresponding option in the Well settings window, or click the priority icon ( nv.EBS interface icon ) on the well tile in the well management pane.

Virtual Flow Meter

Using the Virtual flow meter setting, you can configure the use of the virtual flow meter for calculation of the liquid flow rate. It provides calculated values of the liquid flow rate that can be used to compensate for outdated measured data.

Note

Virtual flow meter calculations are performed automatically every 15 minutes.

Two calculation models are available (ML model and Physical model) that can be used together or separately.

To configure the virtual flow meter, perform the following actions:

  1. In the Well settings window, turn on the Virtual flow meter option. Below, a list of available calculation models appears.

  2. Select the desired model or models (ML model and/or Physical model) by selecting their check boxes.

  3. (Optional) To revert the model selection to its default state, to the right of the modified model, click Reset ( nv.EBS interface icon ).

  4. (Optional) To select the parameter that will be used as the wellhead tubing pressure, click Configure calculation parameters, and then, in the window that appears, select the desired option from the list (Auto, Downstream pressure, or Wellhead tubing pressure) and click Save.

    Note

    If the Auto option is selected, wellhead tubing pressure is used by default. Downstream pressure is used only if the wellhead tubing pressure is missing.

  5. At the bottom of the window, click Save. In the well management pane, in the left part of the selected well tile, the color of the vertical line indicates if and what virtual flow meter models are enabled:

    • Light blue ( nv.EBS interface icon ) / Gray ( nv.EBS interface icon ): ML model is enabled/disabled.

    • Dark blue ( nv.EBS interface icon ) / Gray ( nv.EBS interface icon ): Physical model is enabled/disabled.

To turn off the virtual flow meter, disable the corresponding option in the Well settings window.

Deviation Analysis

The Deviation analysis setting allows you to configure parameters of alert generation based on the deviation of the measured liquid flow rate from the values calculated by the virtual flow meter. For details on alerts, see Alerts.

Important

Deviation analysis alerts can be generated only if the Virtual flow meter setting (see description above) is enabled. To configure deviation analysis, perform the following actions:

  1. In the window, enable the Deviation analysis option. Below, a list of the relevant parameters and their default values appears.

    For details on configuration of default deviation analysis parameters, see Configuring Deviation Analysis Alerts.

  2. (Optional) Modify default parameter values:

    • Alert trigger threshold: Maximum allowable deviation of the most recent measured liquid flow rate from the value calculated by the virtual flow meter.

    • Auto-archive timeout: Duration of the time period after which, if no user action is taken, alerts are automatically archived. For details, see Archive.

    • Measurement validity: Duration of the time period during which liquid flow rate measurements are considered valid after they are received. Once this period expires, alerts are no longer generated until a valid measurement is received.

    • Calculate DFL: If this check box is selected, the well dynamic fluid level value is calculated. In this case, calculations that involve this parameter use the calculated value instead of the value received via integration.

  3. (Optional) To revert parameters to their default values, click Restore default value ( nv.EBS interface icon ) to the right of the modified parameter value.

To turn off deviation analysis, disable the corresponding option in the Well settings window.

Setpoint Analysis

The Setpoint analysis setting provides the ability to configure alert generation when threshold parameter values are approached.. For details on alerts, see Alerts. To configure setpoint analysis, perform the following actions:

  1. In the window, enable the Setpoint analysis option. Below, a list of the relevant parameters appears. To the right of the parameter name, its current setpoint value and default maximum approach percentage are displayed. For details on configuration of default setpoint analysis parameters, see Configuring Setpoint Analysis Alerts.

  2. (Optional) Modify default parameter values:

    • To enable or disable setpoint monitoring for a parameter, turn the corresponding option on or off.

    • To modify the percentage at which an alert must be triggered as the value approaches the setpoint, click the current value, and then, in the window that opens, enter the desired percentage and click Apply.

      Note

      The Insulation resistance and Reverse rotation parameters do not have a numerical setpoint. Alerts are triggered when the condition is detected at the well, rather than by approaching a threshold.

  3. (Optional) To revert parameters to their default values, click Restore default value ( nv.EBS interface icon ) to the right of the modified parameter name.

To turn off setpoint analysis, disable the corresponding option in the Well settings window.

Instant Analysis

The Instant analysis settings allows you to configure parameters of alert generation based on deviations in the well equipment current or frequency.

Allowable deviation is calculated dynamically based on the 24-hour rolling average of the current and frequency values. Instant analysis provides the ability to notify users when the current value deviates from this calculated value by more than the specified percentage.

For details on alerts, see Alerts. To configure instant analysis, perform the following actions:

  1. In the window, enable the Instant analysis option. Below, a list of the relevant parameters and their default values appears. For details on configuration of default instant analysis parameters, see Configuring Instant Analysis Alerts.

  2. (Optional) In the Current and/or Frequency fields, specify the allowable deviation percentage (see description above).

  3. (Optional) To revert parameters to their default values, click Restore default value ( nv.EBS interface icon ) to the right of the modified parameter value.

To turn off instant analysis, disable the corresponding option in the Well settings window.

3.1.1.2. Configuring Measurement Units

In the nv.EBS module, you can select units of measurement and set their display precision, i.e. the number of digits after the decimal point.

To configure measurement units, perform the following actions:

  1. At the top of the well management pane, click Settings ( nv.EBS interface icon ). The Settings window opens.

  2. In the left part of the window, click Units. In the right part of the window, a list of well parameters appears.

    Note

    You can find a parameter by name. To do this, at the top of the list, in the Search field, enter the parameter name or a part of it.

  3. To the right of the desired parameter name, in the Unit column, select the desired option.

  4. In the Precision column, select an option with the desired number of decimal places.

  5. (Optional) To cancel a change of the measurement unit and/or precision, to the right of the modified parameter row, click Reset ( nv.EBS interface icon ).

  6. In the upper-right corner of the window, click Save. The Settings window closes, and the changes are applied automatically.

3.1.1.3. Configuring Deviation Analysis Alerts

On the Deviation analysis tab of the Settings window, you can configure alert generation based on the deviation of the measured liquid flow rate from the values calculated by the virtual flow meter.

Important

Deviation analysis alerts can be generated only if the Virtual flow meter setting is enabled. For details, see Well Settings Window. For details on alerts, see Alerts.

nv.EBS: Configuring Deviation Analysis Alerts

The tab is divided into two subtabs:

  • Default: Configuration of default alert settings, i.e. settings that are applied to all wells if not overridden by custom well settings.

  • Custom: Configuration of custom alert settings, i.e. settings that are configured for specific wells and override default settings.

    Note

    Custom alert settings can also be configured from the Wells tab. For details, see Configuring General Well Settings.

On this tab, you can perform the following actions:

Configuring Default Deviation Analysis Alerts

To configure default parameters of alert generation based on deviation analysis, perform the following actions:

  1. On the Deviation analysis tab, on the Default subtab, turn on the Deviation analysis option. Below, a list of the alert parameters appears.

To disable deviation analysis by default, turn off the corresponding option on the Deviation analysis tab.

Important

Default parameters do not override those configured for specific wells or well groups. To apply default parameters to a well, first you need to reset custom parameters configured in the well settings. For details, see Configuring Deviation Analysis Alerts.

Configuring Custom Deviation Analysis Alerts

To configure parameters of alert generation based on deviation analysis, perform the following actions:

  1. On the Deviation analysis tab, go to the Custom subtab. If for some wells custom parameters are already configured, a table with a list of them is displayed. If not, the subtab is empty.

  2. Depending on whether there already are custom parameters configured, perform one of the following actions:

    • If there are no previously configured parameters, in the central part of the subtab, click Add ( nv.EBS interface icon ).

    • If there are previously configured parameters, at the top of the table with a list of wells, click Add ( nv.EBS interface icon ).

The Custom well settings opens.

  1. In the window that opens, select check boxes of the wells for which you want to configure custom alert parameters.

    Note

    You can find a well by its name. To do this, at the top of the window, in the Search field, enter the well name or a part of it.

  2. (Optional) To hide unselected wells in the table, at the top of the window, turn on the Show only selected option.

  3. (Optional) If by default the Deviation analysis option in the lower part of the window is disabled, turn it on. Below, a list of the alert parameters appears. If custom parameters are already configured for some of the selected wells, a warning is displayed below.

  4. Modify the desired alert parameters:

    • Alert trigger threshold: Maximum allowable deviation of the most recent measured liquid flow rate from the value calculated by the virtual flow meter.

    • Alert processing time: Duration of the time period after which, if no user action is taken, alerts are automatically archived. For details, see Archive.

    • Measurement validity: Duration of the time period during which liquid flow rate measurements are considered valid after they are received. Once this period expires, alerts are no longer generated until a valid measurement is received.

Editing Custom Deviation Analysis Alerts

To edit custom deviation analysis alerts, perform the following actions:

  1. On the Deviation analysis tab, go to the Custom subtab. A table with a list of wells with configured parameters is displayed.

  2. In the row of the desired well, click the current parameter configuration in the rightmost column of the table. A window with the alert parameters opens.

  3. Make the desired changes:

    • To enable or disable deviation analysis alerts for the well, turn on or off the Deviation analysis option at the top of the window.

    • To modify parameter values, edit the desired values. For details on available parameters, see above.

  4. At the bottom of the window, click Apply.

    Note

    To edit custom alert parameters for multiple wells at the same time, follow the configuration procedure described above and replace the existing parameter values with the new ones.

  5. (Optional) To delete custom alert parameters for a well, select the corresponding check box in the leftmost column of the table, and then click Delete ( nv.EBS interface icon ) at the top of the table.

  6. In the upper-right corner of the Custom subtab, click Save.

3.1.1.4. Configuring Setpoint Analysis Alerts

On the Setpoint analysis tab of the Settings window, you can configure generation of alerts when parameters approach their setpoints. For details on alerts, see Alerts.

A setpoint is a threshold value that, if approached, triggers an alert. To configure alert generation, you need to specify the percentage at which an alert is triggered as the corresponding parameter value approaches the setpoint.

nv.EBS: Configuring Setpoint Analysis Alerts

The tab is divided into two subtabs:

  • Default: Configuration of default alert settings, i.e. settings that are applied to all wells if not overridden by custom well settings.

  • Custom: Configuration of custom alert settings, i.e. settings that are configured for specific wells and override default settings.

    Note

    Custom alert settings can also be configured from the Wells tab. For details, see Configuring General Well Settings.

On this tab, you can perform the following actions:

Configuring Default Setpoint Analysis Alerts

To configure default parameters of alert generation based on setpoint analysis, perform the following actions:

To configure parameters of alert generation based on setpoint analysis, perform the following actions:

  1. On the Setpoint analysis tab, go to the Custom subtab. If for some wells custom parameters are already configured, a table with a list of them is displayed. If not, the subtab is empty.

  3. (Optional) If by default the Setpoint analysis option in the lower part of the window is disabled, turn it on.

  4. Below the table, click Add ( nv.EBS interface icon ), and then select the parameter for which you want to add a setpoint from the drop-down list. The selected parameter appears below.

  5. Modify default parameter values:

    • To enable or disable setpoint monitoring for the parameter, turn the corresponding option on or off.

    • To modify the percentage at which an alert must be triggered as the value approaches the setpoint, click the current value, and then, in the window that opens, enter the desired percentage and click Apply.

  8. At the bottom of the window, click Add. Selected wells with modified parameter values appear in the table.

  9. In the upper-right corner of the Custom subtab, click Save.

Editing Custom Setpoint Analysis Alerts

To edit custom setpoint analysis alerts, perform the following actions:

  1. On the Setpoint analysis tab, go to the Custom subtab. A table with a list of wells with configured parameters is displayed.

  2. In the table, make the desired changes:

    • To enable or disable setpoint analysis alerts for a well, click the current value in the Setpoint analysis column, and then, in the window that opens, turn on or off the Setpoint analysis option and click Apply.

    • To modify parameter setpoint values, perform one of the following actions:

      1. At the top of the table, click Add ( nv.EBS interface icon ). The Custom well settings opens.

      2. In the leftmost column, select check boxes of the desired wells.

        Note

        You can find a well by its name. To do this, at the top of the window, in the Search field, enter the well name or a part of it.

      3. Below the table, click Add ( nv.EBS interface icon ) and then, select the parameter for which you want to add a setpoint from the drop-down list. The selected parameter appears below.

      4. Modify default parameter values:

        • To enable or disable setpoint monitoring for the parameter, turn the corresponding option on or off.

        • To modify the percentage at which an alert must be triggered as the value approaches the setpoint, click the current value, and then, in the window that opens, enter the desired percentage and click Apply.

          Note

          The Insulation resistance and Reverse rotation parameters do not have a numerical setpoint. Alerts are triggered when the condition is detected at the well, rather than by exceeding a threshold.

      5. (Optional) To add more parameters, repeat Steps C–D.

      6. (Optional) To revert parameters to their default values, click Restore default value ( nv.EBS interface icon ) to the right of the parameter name.

      7. At the bottom of the window, click Add. Modified values are displayed in the table.

  3. (Optional) To delete custom alert parameters for a well, select the corresponding check box in the leftmost column of the table, and then click Delete ( nv.EBS interface icon ) at the top of the table.

  4. In the upper-right corner of the Custom subtab, click Save.

3.1.1.5. Configuring Instant Analysis Alerts

On the Instant analysis tab of the Settings window, you can configure alert generation based on deviations in the well equipment current or frequency. For details on alerts, see Alerts.

Allowable deviation is calculated dynamically based on the 24-hour rolling average of the current and frequency values. Instant analysis allows you to notify users when the current value deviates from this calculated value by more than the specified percentage.

The tab is divided into two subtabs:

  • Default: Configuration of default alert settings, i.e. settings that are applied to all wells if not overridden by custom well settings.

  • Custom: Configuration of custom alert settings, i.e. settings that are configured for specific wells and override default settings.

    Note

    Custom alert settings can also be configured from the Wells tab. For details, see Configuring General Well Settings.

On this tab, you can perform the following actions:

Configuring Default Instant Analysis Alerts

To configure default parameters of alert generation based on instant analysis, perform the following actions:

  1. On the Instant analysis tab, on the Default subtab, turn on the Instant analysis option. Below, a list of the alert parameters appears.

  2. In the Current and/or Frequency fields, specify the allowable deviation percentage (see description above).

  3. (Optional) To revert parameters to their default values, click Restore default value ( nv.EBS interface icon ) to the right of the modified parameter name.

To disable instant analysis by default, turn off the corresponding option on the Instant analysis tab.

Important

Default parameters do not override those configured for specific wells or well groups. To apply default parameters to a well, first you need to reset custom parameters configured in the well settings. For details, see Configuring Instant Analysis Alerts.

Configuring Custom Instant Analysis Alerts

To configure parameters of alert generation based on instant analysis, perform the following actions:

  1. On the Instant analysis tab, go to the Custom subtab. If for some wells custom parameters are already configured, a table with a list of them is displayed. If not, the subtab is empty.

  2. Depending on whether there already are custom parameters configured, perform one of the following actions:

    • If there are no previously configured parameters, in the central part of the subtab, click Add ( nv.EBS interface icon ).

    • If there are previously configured parameters, at the top of the table with a list of wells, click Add ( nv.EBS interface icon ).

The Custom well settings opens.

  1. In the window that opens, select check boxes of the wells for which you want to configure custom alert parameters.

    Note

    You can find a well by its name. To do this, at the top of the window, in the Search field, enter the well name or a part of it. If custom parameters are already configured for some of the selected wells, a warning is displayed below.

  2. (Optional) To hide unselected wells in the table, at the top of the window, turn on the Show only selected option.

  3. (Optional) If by default the Instant analysis option in the lower part of the window is disabled, turn it on.

  4. In the Current and/or Frequency fields, specify the allowable deviation percentage (see description above).

  5. (Optional) To revert parameters to their default values, click Restore default value ( nv.EBS interface icon ) to the right of the value.

  6. At the bottom of the window, click Add. Selected wells with modified parameter values appear in the table.

  7. In the upper-right corner of the Custom subtab, click Save.

For details on how to edit or delete custom alert parameters, see below.

Editing Custom Instant Analysis Alerts

To edit custom instant analysis alerts, perform the following actions:

  1. On the Instant analysis tab, go to the Custom subtab. A table with a list of wells with configured parameters is displayed.

  2. Click the current value in the Instant analysis column.

  3. In the window that opens, perform one of the following actions:

    • To enable or disable the instant analysis alerts, turn on or off the Instant analysis option.

    • (If instant analysis is enabled) To edit the current and/or frequency values, enter the new values in the corresponding fields.

  4. (Optional) To revert parameters to their default values, click Restore default value ( nv.EBS interface icon ) to the right of the value.

  5. At the bottom of the window, click Apply.

    Note

    To edit custom alert parameters for multiple wells at the same time, follow the configuration procedure described above and override the existing parameter values with the new ones.

  6. (Optional) To delete custom alert parameters for a well, select the corresponding check box in the leftmost column of the table, and then click Delete ( nv.EBS interface icon ) at the top of the table.

  7. In the upper-right corner of the Custom subtab, click Save.

3.1.2. Reports

nv.EBS provides functionality for generation of reports on the operation parameters of the desired wells in the XLSX format.

To generate a report, perform the following actions:

  1. At the top of the well management pane, click Report ( nv.EBS interface icon ). The Report configuration window opens.

  2. In the left part of the window, in the Time range and wells pane, configure the report data range:

    1. At the top of the pane, in the date range picker, click the currently selected start date, and then, in the window that opens, select the start date and time of the reporting period.

    2. In the date range picker, click the currently selected end date, and select the desired end date and time of the reporting period.

    3. In the list of business units below, select check boxes of the desired units (enterprises, companies, production departments, fields, and/or well pads).

      Note

      By default, all lists are collapsed. To expand a list of units within a higher-level unit, click the arrow icon ( nv.EBS interface icon ) to the left of the desired unit name.

      Note

      You can search for business units by name using the search field at the top of the list. The list of business units is automatically filtered as you type. To view the search results, expand the desired lists of business units.

  3. In the right part of the window, in the Parameters pane, add the parameters whose values will be included in the report:

    1. At the top of the pane, click Edit ( nv.EBS interface icon ). On the left, a window for selecting parameters opens.

    2. In this window, in the General information pane and on the Equipment and Operating parameters tabs, select check boxes of the well parameters that will be included in the report.

    3. At the bottom of the window, click Save. A table with a list of the selected parameters appears in the Parameters pane.

  4. (Optional) To reduce the number of entries in the report, configure the data thinning in one of the following ways:

    • To configure data thinning for one parameter, perform the following actions:

      1. In the table with a list of the selected parameters, in the Data decimation column, click Add in the row of the desired parameter.

      2. In the window that opens, enter the maximum number of values per well for the selected parameter and click Save.

        Important

        The data thinning (or data decimation) algorithm allows you to reduce the total number of parameter values by a specified amount. For example, if 100 flow rate measurements were taken for a well within a specified time range, and you specify 50 as the decimation value, the report will contain every second measurement instead of all of them.

    • To configure data thinning for multiple parameters, perform the following actions:

      1. In the table with a list of the selected parameters, select check boxes of the parameters for which the number of values should be reduced in the report.

      2. At the top of the Parameters pane, click Data decimation ( nv.EBS interface icon ).

      3. In the window that opens, enter the maximum number of values per well for the selected parameters and click Save.

    • To configure data decimation for specific wells, perform the following actions:

      1. In the table with a list of the selected parameters, in the Custom decimation column, click Add in the row of the desired parameter. The Custom decimation settings window opens.

      2. In this window, in the rows of the desired wells, click Add in the rightmost column of the table.

      3. In the window that opens, enter the maximum number of values of the selected parameters for the selected well and click Save.

      4. At the bottom of the Custom decimation settings window, click Save.

  5. In the upper-right corner of the Report configuration window, click Export ( nv.EBS interface icon ).
